well, im having another irritation, in the couple months that i've been swtching over/migrating to linux, the transitions been easy enough after working with fedora and ubuntu to get my feet in the water. the large user base of those 2 distros definitely helped me find alternative programs for everything
but one thing i can't seem to find is a program to rip my cd's to mp3 and add album art. maybe i've taken one too many calls working zune supprot for someone whining about album art, its getting to me
i found this one but its for rox desktop, and i have no idea what that is mostly. i use kde, got comfortable with it. right now im ripping with kaudiocreator but then when i bring it into amarok, i have to paste my album art.
so im looking for a ripper that just does it for me

I believe that you can do the whole process in Amarok. It has ripping capabilities built in.

I think that I'm wrong. I was sure that it could be done, but now looking at it, I see no way.
Sorry about the bad info.

i use rupyripper since it rips tracks securely and then exaile finds the cover art automatically. iirc musicbrainz picard will embed cover art into files that support it though.

What do you mean by paste the album art when you bring it into Amarok? Amarok downloads the cover art for my albums from Amazon and it couldn't really be much easier since I'd still need to check it was getting the correct artwork even if it was integrated with my music ripper.
