ion and wmii gone? (Broken deps, package not found)

Am I too stupid or do I have missed something bad?

[root@claw freigeist]# pacman -Sy wmii
:: Synchronizing package databases...
 core is up to date
 extra is up to date
 community is up to date
resolving dependencies... 
error: cannot resolve dependencies for "wmii" ("dmenu" is not in the package set)
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: wmii requires dmenu

and even more worse:

[root@claw freigeist]# pacman -Sy ion
:: Synchronizing package databases...
 core is up to date
 extra is up to date
 community is up to date
error: 'ion': not found in sync db

ion is in the 'extra' repo here .. maybe you need to run that command again

A resync some hours later fixed the problem.
