Gnome question (solved)
A couple of days ago I switched to gnome. so far I like it better than KDE but I have a minor problem. The desktop has icons for 2 trash bins. How do I delete one of them.
I couldn't delete one but it let me drag one into the other and then I emptied the trash and the extra one went away.

The other one can be disable using gconf-editor. Browse to applications > nautilus.
