Sawfish - nothing happens -solved-

When I start Sawfish, I only get a black screen, no menus etc. If I have some programs in my .xinitrc, they appear and have that "Sawfish theme". But no matter how I edit my .sawfishrc, seems like it doesn't affect at all. I've added load-path, require sawmill-defaults and other stuff. Sometimes Sawfish just exits and reports it can't find sawfish/wm/ext/beos-window-menu. The lisp-files are in /usr/share/sawfish/1.3/lisp and also in ~/.sawfish/lisp, where I copied them. I tried adding them both to load-list..

I know Sawfish isn't very popular (?), but I hope there's some people still using it..

Well...the black screen is quite normal. You can call the menu with the middle mouse-button.
Try to use (require 'sawfish.wm.defaults) as first line in your sawfishrc - then it should work.

Please post your sawfishrc if you encounter any further problems wink

Yeah I know about middle click, but the menu doesn't appear..

Now I only have (require 'sawmill-defaults) in my .sawfishrc, also tried (require 'sawfish.wm.defaults)

Wow.. I didn't have rep-gtk installed.. I started compiling my own version and configure sais the package is missing..

So now it works, of course there's much to configure..
