gnome kde confusion (SOLVED)

when I boot I get the KDE sign in page, I enter my password and then gnome starts.
DAEMONS=(@syslog-ng network hal portmap hplip netfs alsa crond clamav cups kdm)
I was using gnome and I want to go back to KDE for a while but my computer has other plans.

You have kdm as your desktop manager in your DAEMONS. That's why it looks like KDE when you login. smile

Is late in night here, but if I understand correctly just click the sessions button a drop down menu will appear and will let you choose KDE if you have it installed, then LOGIN.

EDIT: HACOSTA beated me to the answer.;)

I did this just before reading you message. I rebooted every thing fine now.
