Compiz+GTK issue (curio not a 'problem')

Using the GTK window decorator with Compiz Fusion gives me strange white borders around gnome panels, drop-down menus and tooltips - but Emerald works fine. Have also had this on Debian, Its not really a problem, since I can just use Emerald - but I'm curious te know if anyone knows why it might be happening

Open the Compiz Settings Manager, go to Advanced and select "Window Decoration". For "Shadow Windows" enter the string "any !dock".
