2 Trashcans and 2 Home folders on xfce4 desktop?!
I am a KDE user.
I installed xfce4 to try it out, and as the title implies, I have 2 Trashcans, and 2 home folders on my xfce4 Desktop. One of each works, however the others, while appearing identical, give an error like "cannot connect to URL" Can anyone tell me why?

That's because KDE installs a shortcut to home and trash on your desktop, with URLs home:// and trash:/// respectively; these are not understood by xfce.

Thanks for the response. Can you suggest a workaround that will remove the KDE ones from the xfce desktop, while keeping my xfce ones? I am brainstorming to come up with something.
I tried deleting the kde ones, but it deleted them from my KDE desktop too, so I had to recreate them on the KDE desktop, and needless to say, they're back on xfce again.
