"glib2 requires pcre>=7.3" on new install of gnome SOLVED

I get "pcre" is not in the package set when I try to install gnome. "glib2 requires pcre>=7.3"
I'm doing a new installation and the disk 2007.08 has worked fine on previous installs.

pcre is in the repo. Have you changed your pacman.conf to core instead of current. There was a repo shuffle and cleanup one week ago. More information here: http://www.archlinux.org/news/345/

Otherwise you can use the new isos. They are RCs, but there are reports, that installation went fine. You can find the isos here: http://www.archlinux.org/~tpowa/rc-iso/

Ise, thanks.
I realised that after I changed current to core I forgot to update again. My mistake.
Now I've got gnome and xorg and done an xorgconfig and get the desktop just fine.
You devs are great thanks
