[solved] Strange BitTorrent problem

BitTorrent, no matter what I try to download, gives me a strange error:

Problem connecting to tracker - <urlopen error (111,'Connection refused')>

Downloading the same torrents on Windows works just dandy.  Any ideas?

Maybe your client is banned on that tracker. Try KTorrent or uTorrent thru Wine.

I'd also reccomend to try with a different client. You can try

sudo pacman -S transmission
transmission-gtk

for a very simple client that gets the job done.

Re: [solved] Strange BitTorrent problem

Thanks, Deluge is working great.  I'm not sure why I didn't try another client, first, although I can't believe they would block gnome-bittorrent from their tracker!  That's ridiculous.

On another note: How do I mark a thread as "Solved"?
