Realtek 8111b speed issue

Hello. I have a mobo with a 8111b realtek ethernet thingamajiggy intergrated on my motherboard that I can't get to work faster than 100mb/s. Even though it does do 1000mb/s ('ethtool eth0' and the realtek specs say so anyways).

I've checked google and have found other people with the same issue with this chip but so far no solutions. Would there be by chance an Archlinux super duper genius who has this figured out?
