libpcap issue?

I upgraded libpcap today. Now, when I run nmap I get:

[tjl@tjl-laptop ~]$ nmap
nmap: error while loading shared libraries: libpcap.so.0.9.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Re: libpcap issue?

nmap 4.20-3 fixes this, and it will be on your mirror shortly.

Re: libpcap issue?

Hi,

how are the updates going? Im in the same situation as Taylor since I tried to do full system upgrade half hour ago - nmap was not downloaded, was not functioning properly and 4.20-2 got me that disguisting smile little error Taylor wrote about. When I try pacman -Suy again, it offers me to download newer nmap (everything else was downloaded before AOK) but the file seems to be unavailable anywhere, like:

error: failed retrieving file 'nmap-4.20-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.gz' from mirror.icis.pcz.pl : File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access)

Re: libpcap issue?

Not directely related , but wireshark have been rebuil against the new libpcap, and now :

# LANG=C pacman -S wireshark
resolving dependencies... done.
looking for inter-conflicts... done.

Targets: wireshark-0.99.6-5

Total Package Size: 10.42 MB

Proceed with installation? [Y/n]
checking package integrity... done.
error: error while reading package: Unrecognized archive format: Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character
error: failed to commit transaction (libarchive error)
