For the TURs, Go to:
http://tur.archlinux.org/
and click on that big link at the top that says PKGBUILDs.

I want to build glibc 2.3.3-1t1 from source, and then test it. But I don't see its PKGBUILD in the TURs. Any hints on how to proceed?

use the PKGBUILD of the current glibc and tweak it as needed and paossibly patch as needed.
back up your imoportant files first becuase if you screw up then your system probably won't work too great (or at all).

Or even better, use the web inteface (cvs.archlinux.org) to find the glibc package, then find the one that's tagged as TESTING.

ah yes very logical ... always forget about that "testing" repo and its silly designations

I can't log into anonymous CVS, using the instructions provided on the web site. Is there a problem with CVS access?

Anonymous access was disabled because the redhat legacy packages haven't been updated yet for cvs pserver, so they're still vulnerable. That's why dragon kept freezing. You have to use the web interface.
