Fluxbox toolbar doesn't show tasks

For some reason the toolbar in fluxbox doesn't show a list of running applications anymore. I have to use alt-tab to switch between windows which is rather annoying.

I tried doing 'pacman -R fluxbox ; pacman -S fluxbox' but it didn't solve the problem.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

it's likely in the init file in your .fluxbox dir...probably has that option removed..Look in that file for ....

session.screen0.toolbar.tools: workspacename, prevworkspace, nextworkspace, iconbar, systemtray, prevwindow, nextwindow, clock

That is all hte option available to the session.screen0.toolbar.tools: option. So have a look and compare.. you are loiklye looking for iconbar or systemtray as missing options..

It seems that all of those options are present, including iconbar and systemtray.

Is this a new installed or have you changed some of the settings in the files in .fluxbox? If it's a new install just remove the .fluxbox dir before loading X and then restart X and see what happens..

God I feel stupid now though. I guess pacman doesn't clean up files like that when you uninstall something. >_<

Nope not in your home folder. Glad that worked out for you. Had to of been a setting in one of the file in there causing the issue.
