CRUX vs. Arch

hi,

i decided just before a few days to change my distro. now i have the problem, that neither distrowatch.com nor old.lwn.net/Distributions tell me "hey, that's your distro. this one is right for you!" ... :-))
ok, after a while i decided to use one of these distros: arch, crux, root
i think i take arch, but i don't really understand the difference between arch and crux.
maybe one of you can explain it to me? thx.

Re: CRUX vs. Arch

The package manager for Arch is way more advanced than the package manager for crux, apart from that Arch also has a huge package base,  and basicly I think its allot nicer to work with then crux.

Re: CRUX vs. Arch

ok, folks i understood. (am i not intelligent? lol )

then i'll try it. :!: in the past i had mandrake installed. i also tried gentoo, suse, redhat, halloween  but they were all too bloated and slow or they were not usable as a desktop-system or they needed too long to install (no, i don't mean gentoo... big_smile )

i hope it will also suite my needs.

thx for ur answers, you'll hear from me...  wink
