How to patch madwifi for Aircrack ng

I want to patch My wifi card to use with aircrack
http://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=madwifi-ng

however since the patch appears to need to be done to the source I am wondering how to do this without placing a Madwifi package on my system that is not managed by pacman.

Is there a pkgbuild around for this? I was not able to find one.. if not what would be the best way to go about doing this ( im not sure on how to create a pkgbuild)
