So I have very old and crappy digital camera HP Photosmart 433. I use it for reading memory cards on my pc. So I plug the usb cable..

I can enter via windows xp in virtual box, I see the files, bet when I try to copy them, it hangs up.
How to make that god damn thing work?

If you<ve only got pictures on that memory card, then I suggest trying to use a program like gtkam (if using GNOME) or digikam (if using KDE) or something similar to download the pictures.
I doubt that you could mount your camera as a partition, since the kernel doesn<t recognize a partition table on the device.

Ok, I can download with gphoto2, ut how aout uploading? And why Windows XP recognizes my camera as a usb storage device?
