Drive Space

Does anyone know of a program that will very accurately show me the total amount of space on a drive or partition and the total amount of used space on that drive or partition.  It would be nice if the program could show these numbers in bytes, which would be much more accurate than the "185.3 GB" I get with conventional disk space programs.  That is accurate only to the 100s of MBs.  Webmin gets to 5 significant figures (in GB), but that still is only accurate to about 10MBs.

Also, does anyone know of a byte converter program?  For example: 34.6775 gigabytes = 37234682101.76 bytes  I have found several online, but I can not access the Internet on my Linux system.

Re: Drive Space

I think the tools you're looking for are df and du (both have man pages).

34.6775 * 1024 * 1024 * 1024 ?
You can simply use Kcalc.
