so pacman -S flashplugin, which is what the wiki says, doesn't work, and I can't figure out to install it from source, the page says to type /flashplayer-installer and that does nothing. I do not care how i get flash but I neeeeed it! thanks.

"pacman -S flashplugin" is supposed to work. Do you have the extra repository enabled? How does it *not* work? Are there errors?

Are you using the x86_64 variant of Arch? If so, you'll find that flashplayer doesn't currently work.

I am an arch64 user. unfortunately, because Adobe Flash is proprietary and they haven't released an official 64-bit linux flash plugin, you will need to use the plugin wrapper or switch to an open-source plugin like gnash.
