certain search phrase causes the search to return blank

If I search the forums for this phrase:

make: *** [vmnet.ko] Error 2

The search page comes back blank - not no results, no content!

The url the search creates is this:

http://bbs.archlinux.org/search.php?act … rch=Submit

What is going on? Some bad parsing of what could be a regular expression?
