That's right, boys and girls. The new version of Vimperator is here!
Get it at the usual place: http://vimperator.mozdev.org/
What I really like with this new release is the new and improved 'status bar' that are now colored in black and supports tray icons (so now my Tor button is finally usable and integrates nicely into Vimperator).
A big thank you goes to all people who developed this great extension. Without it I would've given up on Firefox a long time ago. ![]()

Nice. Does the Link preview work now - or did it all the time and its just my setup? (showing the destination in statusbar when hovering)

Have you ever tried
set showstatuslinks=1or
set showstatuslinks=2?

The statusbar is a great improvement. I have some useful icons back! Now if only they would implement a '.' command

Link preview still doesn't work, but gmail shortcuts do! It used to be that whenever you escaped all keys in gmail to use their shortcuts nothing would work until you clicked something. Now it responds every time.

Did you try from a fresh profile?
pacman roulette : pacman -S $(pacman -Slq | LANG=C sort -R | head -n $((RANDOM % 10)))

That works. In fact, lots of things work that didn't before. Thanks.

I take that back. It doesn't work. In fact, it only works the first time, ever.
I traced it to one key that's added when you start firefox the first time:
user_pref("browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone", "rv:1.8.1.7");Once that's set, link preview no longer works.
EDIT: An artifact of the problem below

Scratch that. The bug is in the browser startup page. If this is set to a blank page, link preview does not work.
This bug is strange as I can reproduce it in FF2 but not in the FF3 based
vimperator 0.6. And as i really have no clue how i could fix it for firefox 2,
i fear you'll all have to wait for firefox3![]()
Resolving as FIXED, but be aware it's only fixed for the CVS build for
Firefox3.
