tiacx 20071003-1 is now in testing. This is the original driver, not the mac80211 version, which apparently needs a bit more work.

I got problems with the mac80211 driver as well, but tiacx works fine.

[root@celestary chaosgeisterchen]# modprobe acx-mac80211
FATAL: Error inserting acx_mac80211 (/lib/modules/2.6.23-ARCH/extra/acx-mac80211.ko): Invalid module format

Inserting the module is not my problem:

But as I already said, I'll have access to my tiacx-card on saturday - then I'll be able to fully test it (loading a driver successfully doesn't mean that it's working)

Right, I might have to look into the PKGBUILD / .install-file again, I might have pasted something in an incorrect way.

Before rebuilding/reinstalling, try depmod, as root.

I have tested 20071003-1 from testing into my stable Arch : it worked like a charm.

I have not tested the new Mac 802.11 driver yet but it is in my todo list.

Comp locks up with the new stack driver, better use the normal one. Seems like you don't even need the patch anymore.

Same problem here
ifconfig wlan0 up ends in a lockup
