EDITED: for some reason my touchpad which had been working perfectly, broke and became frozen and unmovable...I tried many different things and none of them worked, so I booted into my dual boot partition of Windows to write this topic that I just edited out, and then while waiting for a response, I tried to boot into my Archlinux partition one more time to see if I could fix it, and it was working now...
...weird.
I am on the testing xorg-server and the testing synaptics, so maybe something didn't work correctly.

Thank you for the advice. I checked my /var/log/Xorg.0.log and Xorg.0.log.old and the only 2 errors in both of them were "glx" and "dri" for glx....
As for my synaptic problem, I'm wondering if tilda and yakuake damaged my computer (because it all started when I tried each of those terminal programs. I had problems with both of them and next thing I know my synaptics stopped working).
Maybe something stayed damaged until I logged into Windows Xp? Is that possible? (I also removed xorg-server and synaptics, and then reinstalled them and started X again with "startx"....which still had no movement in my synaptic touchpad....then I shutdown my computer, logged into my Windows Xp partition, wrote my original post in this thread explaining my issue, and then while waiting for a response, I decided to boot back into Archlinux to see if I could figure anything else out...and then it was working normal again....weird right?)
