arson segmentation fault

I recently pacmanned in arson and xcdroast to checkout the various cd burning apps.

xcdroast works fine.

When I try to run arson it crashes immediately with a segmentation fault.

I did a pacman -Syu and then I backed out the kdelib, kdemultimedia upgrades because of the kde segmentation fault, right before adding arson.

Any ideas?

Afaik, arson does not work with 2.6.x kernels yet. I have not looked in a month or so, but that was the case then.

arson has no updated pkg since long --- the actual pkg in the repos do not work, but there is no new release that would work with the new cdrtools/kernel/... --- arson is dying out, unfortunately

try k3b instead

Just use k3b, much better than the other.

I didn't know about K3b at the time I installed arson. I found it soon after and installed it. Works great.
