Now that kernel26ck is no more. Is there a similar kernel? I really enjoy kernel26ck, I think it really improves performance on the desktop.

I'm finding that the 2.6.23 kernel feels more responsive on my x86_64 machine than the CK kernel did. There are a few things that I haven't tried yet, but for day to day operations it seems like a great replacement.

+1 default kernel .23 >= old ck kernel.

I really liked kamikaze except I experience higher cpu temps and yet no one has answered my cry for help:(
