Hi!
I am a recent ubuntu convert to arch.
arch is great. It didn't take me too long to build very fast and powerful platform.
However, I experienced some problem when installing digikamimageplugins.
There are some file conflicts between digikam and digikamimageplugins packages.
For an example, /opt/kde/share/services/digikamimageplugin_whitebalance.desktop
I also noticed the version of digikamimageplugins is older than digikam.
How should I resolve this problem?
Should I use --force switch to install?
Thanks

You can unistall the first package by using the -Rd switch. Then you'll be able to install the second package. Or, you can do what you said and use -f.
Welcome to Arch.

actually, I think the image plugins were combined into digikam, and the package should have been removed from the repos but wasn't
Basically, don't install digikamimageplugins, you've already got it. I'll get the old package out of the repo.
