Changing Gnome Icons...

Seems a daft question but in Appearance there is no option to change icons ?

Or have I gone completely mad lol

Re: Changing Gnome Icons...

It's tucked away under the 'customize' button on the themes tab.

Re: Changing Gnome Icons...

Greetings,

I have another question. How to change GTK theme icons, using config files. I have changed my theme, and font, using ~/.gtkrc-2.0 and ~/.gtkrc.mine files, but can I change icons as well somehow. I am using fluxbox, and I do now want to instal XFCE in order to use xfce-mcs-manager for changing my icon theme.

Thank you.

Re: Changing Gnome Icons...

AFAIK for the icons you should also edit the ~/.gtkrc.mine file (assuming your ~/.gtkrc-2.0 file has a line to include that file.
Try something like

gtk-icon-theme-name = "YourThemeName"
