I feel really stupid... I can't find KMix in KDEmod. Am I missing something? No panel applet, no package for it... It is supposed to be part of the kdemultimeda group, right?

On my box:
[tambooki@nogoma:~]% pacman -Qo /opt/kde/bin/kmix
/opt/kde/bin/kmix is owned by kdemod-kdemultimedia-base 3.5.7-5
-nogoma

You probably need to add the kmix via kdemultimedia.

replace "probably" with "definetely" and "kdemultimedia" with "kdemod-kdemultimedia-base" and it will do the trick! nogoma gave this answer already, I know, but before someone is probably doing "pacman -S kdemultimedia" I justed wanted to ensure that this someone better tries "pacman -S kdemod-kdemultimedia-base"...
now with 80% more sax-appeal!

I assumed that the user was aware that to address kde multimedia, he needed first to address ...kdebase....
Wherefrom is kdemultimedia-base?
