Hey, I have the newest xfce, and the panel quits when I try to remove a panel...
This is the error I get from gdb:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x00002b7fe697558c in g_type_check_instance_cast ()
from /usr/lib/libgobject-2.0.so.0
This is really frustrating, and any help would be much appreciated, let me know if you need any more information...
Thanks, Jonny

I had the same thing. I just edited the panels.xml file directly to remove a panel. Should be in
~/.config/xfce4/panel/panels.xml

Hey,
I tried to edit it, and every time I restart xfce4 it just writes a new file over the one I make. So it displays the panel still...
Thanks, Jonny

You want to edit it while the panel program is not running. Otherwise it will write the config on exit as you noticed.

Hey,
Thanks, I wouldn't have guessed that it auto saves. It worked, and thanks for the help.
