Online Poker and Linux

I was wondering if anyone else has gotten addicted to poker.  I'd like to play online, but none of the sites I know make a linux client.  Currently, the Poker Room has a java web client that works.  But i'm not a fan of the Poker Room.  Pacific Poker claims to have web client, but it wont load.  Poker Stars sorta barely works wine, but its looks funny.  Ultimate bet, party poker and others are just windows clients and wine isnt happy with them.

Anyone else have luck with these sites.

Getting to UltimateBet is the only reason I have a dual boot system. I highly doubt
anyone is going to put out a Linux version anytime soon.  But right now
Linux/Arch is much more addicting. I think I'm going to do something more
productive and learn python big_smile

Yea, poker is the only reason I still have a windows partition.  However, I'm getting used to the PokerRoom.com, so hopefully I'll be able to do away with windows soon.  But its also probably good that I cant stand windows, I'm more productive with arch, and less online poker = more money in my wallet  big_smile

Re: Online Poker and Linux

PokerStars keeps dying on me in wine. Not good if you have a bit of money on the game.  Most of the links in that google search are for browser+java implementations.

Re: Online Poker and Linux

PokerStars + wine works like a charm for me, seems to be the only windows app that works on my box without any problems. The only reason I don't change is habit really. Might have a look at some of the others in the near future.

Oh yes. Poker and Broodwar are the only reasons for my dual boot. You'll probably never get PokerTracker running on linux.

Re: Online Poker and Linux

Hello All,

There are number of websites compatible with Linux platform, as now people loves to play online rather then going to club and all, you can search on internet and  found many.

Thanks!
