[SOLVED] Terminal shuts immediately

Since few days I'm having little problems with terminal in Xfce. After clicking shortcut the terminal appears for a while and shuts down. The problem appears only on my account, on root everything works OK.
For now I'm using aterm for substitution, typing "terminal" I'm getting such error as shown below:

Re: [SOLVED] Terminal shuts immediately

I had a problem back in the days when I used Xubuntu. Opening the terminal would crash the X server. I fixed it by lowering the colour depth in x.xorg from 24 to 16 bit.

I'm not sure if this is the same problem though....

Re: [SOLVED] Terminal shuts immediately

Did you get the same error??

::: ADDED 25.10 :::

I can't explain the depencies between terminal and theme I was using but changing 'em solved the problem roll
