becouse i wanted to have some grapiphics over my grub, i looked up how this is accomplished and installed the patch via a modified version of the standard PKGBUILD script.
but the damn thing just doesn't want to operate.
has anyone got this working yet?

Do you have any more detail besides "just won't operate"?
Will it not build?
Does it not patch cleanly?
Does it build, but not execute for some reason?
Will it not install grub to your MBR...
Maybe we can figure out what's wrong with it, hm?
