I've found a little bug in the login prompt..

That's interesting as I've never noticed this happening.
On my laptop which I run in framebuffer mode so the screen fits the monitor, instead of a small (or worse a stretched) screen. If the login fails, I simply get another login in prompt. If I let it set a bit, the login times out and refreshes the screen where everything looks fine. I am only able to verify this on vc2 since I am currently logged in on vc1.

i run in frame buffer mode too (tdfx) but as i wrote in the bug tracker, if my login fails the login prompt don't show the correct information..
my hostname shows n
and my console shows l
so the login prompt looks like this:

Arch Linux (0.4) (n) (l)
brujita login:
------
and the right thing should be:
----------
Arch Linux (0.4) (brujita) (vc/1)
brujita login:
------------
i don't know why.. i'll try to fix it and post a solution..
please everyone who read this check if has the same little problem
