Dirsync - tool Crucial optimization.

Today I (unfortunately ) discover a crucial slip.
I tried to dirsync a targetFolder called (lets say)
/media/disk/bla-bla to /home/USER/folder1/target
and I mistype the command as above   

#dirsync /media/disk/bla-bla to /home/USER/folder1/   

then WITHOUT any WARNING the tool starts removing files and folder from the "folder1" !!!
So Be Careful !

P.S.
It will be useful to optimize the code so it will return a warning before Syncronize.
