Crashs GDM on logout

Whenever I logout my gdm seems to crash. (I get the nvidia logo, I assume that means it crashed) I have a Nvidia Geforce 5200fx. I am not too sure what it could be. It does the same thing with Fedora 5 yet with Debian and ubuntu I do not get this problem. It is a little annoying. I would like to find out what is causeing this, If anyone could point me in the riight direction it would be great.

Re: Crashs GDM on logout

Whenever I log out and return to GDM or shutdown I get a GDM crash as well.  The system functions normally and does NOT try to check the drives when it starts up, so it "shuts down" OK.  I get something like this:

gdm_binary (83xxx):  .....g_object_unref.....

It started about the time og the Gnome 2.20 upgrade and hasn't stopped -- not can I find what the cause is.
