1. Is it true the Microsoft contacted you in an attempt to make a patent agreement similar to the one they did with Novell?

2. Is it also true that you make Chuck Norris cry?

3. When will Arch Linux (Core Dump) service pack 1 be released?

4. Is it true that when NASA hired you to be a astronaut, you installed ArchLinux on all of their computers as well?

5. Would you consider making a special server distribution of ArchLinux? For example, a installable live cd that comes only with server related software (httpd, squid, openldap, etc...)

6. Is it true that you once publicly asked Linus to stop being a kid and stop flaming people on mailing lists?

7. AndyRTR mentioned once that one of the QA team of openoffice.org uses ArchLinux. Nevertheless, a lot of upsteam developers for many projects tend to use Debian and Redhat as the systems they use for development. Any plans to make ArchLinux more attractive for upstream developers?

None - we set a cron-job to run pacman -Syu nightly and as soon as a new light-bulb becomes available, it'll be updated.

From the developer page, one can see you also like Gobolinux [package management is done by the file system itself !]. Why is this distribution not so well known, what do you like in it ? and what can be learned from it to improve arch? and the other way around ?

As we all might know: The Answer is 42. How can Arch Linux make the question? (Don't panic under no circumstances!)

Pacman, ABS, the easy to configure rd.conf and makeinitcpio are core parts which makes Arch Linux satisfying the Kiss principle. Which feature of other Linux Distros do you think could be implemented in arch to simplify its usage more and more.

Do you use Compiz or another 3d desktop? What features to you like/use most in order to improve efficiency while working?

Once again, congrats on your new title

I hope Arch Linux stays true to it's roots, I think that's what makes it so great, the KISS philosophy. There are plenty of other "I'll hold your hand" distros to choose from if that's what someone wants. Back on topic, I have a couple questions.

1. Do you plan to keep Arch Linux on the same track as it has been with the KISS design ?
2. What could users of Arch Linux do that would help you ?
3. Is Arch Linux in need of any sort of support ? and if so, what can we do to help ?
