Re: smc 0.96 : no sound

Also, glibc aborts smc when trying to get rid of the fullscreen mode (my dualscreen setup isn't opengl fullscreen compatible sad). It complains about some broken double-linked list and gives a nice backtrace (new glibc rocks every time, now you don't even need a debugger anymore tongue)

Re: smc 0.96 : no sound

I just found out that I have sound when smc is ran as root. I guess that it's a permission problem. The strange thing is that I sound with other apps when they are run as user. :? I will investigate further.

Re: smc 0.96 : no sound

I have sound in frozen-bubble, lbreakout2 and circuslinux. (I haven't tried others)
I can't see any problem with my sound config. I am in the audio groups and the sound related devices in /dev are in the audio group.
BTW, I noticed that these apps takes a long time to load and they all give that

Usage:program_name [address][:port]

error. Is this normal?

Hi

For me, I had nothing in /usr/share/smc/music.
Having another pc with gentoo, I copied the missing folders .

I'd say it's better to enable the Community repository and then grab the package smc-music. This way those files are also handled by Pacman.
