Open gconf-editor and modify:

/desktop/gnome/interface/toolbar_style

Valid values: both, both-horiz, icons, and text.

Edit:  This only seems to work if the gnome-settings-daemon is loaded.  Is there a way to enable this feature without running the daemon?

Agreed: The documentation (the wiki, basically) is very helpful, and it's come a long way in the last year even.  A helpful hint (at least I would consider it such: Install a text-only browser (lynx, links) so you can look things up on the wiki if you need to, before you have an operable X environment up and running.

Great setup.

Sry. Bit late. Here's an archive with visibility, gtk-2.0 and openbox3 themes.

Re: October 2007 Screenshots

I'll certainly check the wiki out....I must say Fedora is one of the more stable distro's I've used, so I'm not in a rush to leave it....Someone told me Linux is all about customization and doing it yourself, and Arch Linux is really a good example of that. However, because Linux is so command line extensive, I'm just not gonna do it right now. maybe in a few months?

While I'm reading up tho, can anyone tell me how to get that awesome Mac bar???!!?!?!?!!!!

Here's my Desktop in progress....
