heey, I'd like to add a design and I'm working very hard on it but I'm afraid I'm not that good in putting it all together on the comp. I wanted to share the idea though cause I thought it's a good one.
Arch:Cutting edge:Power back in users hands:Lightweight:Simple:A:L:Pacman.
So I thought: BOOMERANG! That's quite a nice symbol and it holds up quite a few archthoughts behind it. You could get an A/L and pacman out of it, it has cutting edge, rolling release system, is simple yet powerful, lightweight... etc.
Maybe one of you designers can create a logo out of it.
Here's a scan of my first sketches:

I had some ideas, but I don't know if I should keep working on them. Do you think one of them has potential?

Haven't been here in a while. Still rocking Arch.

I like #2, Sigi. Again, similar to the sort of thing I was tinkering with way back when all this started.
EDIT: Oops! Forgot this thread wasn't for comments. Sorry.

Re-Shaped my first idea a bit, added some colors and took a different font (urw gothic). what color do you prefer? (well, the good thing is, you can change the color very easy)

I still like the green! What do you think about this: Green Belt (svg)
Its a kind of a rework of my second submitted logo.

Well, as inkscape makes things extremely easy, here my first boomerang-logo.
I'd like to have a few comments before I go on with it. I didn't do much with the type... I just used the old one to give an idea.
edit: Indeed there has to be said here that this concept is taken from here: http://www.kutek.net/ therefore it won't be submitted to any contest as the design is probably not universal.

As well as backgrounds, colour palettes, 3d renderings, themes, and icons... I've also been designing some basic t-shirts (for both POD and Screen) -- these are two of the more basic designs:
@RonnieUL: I'll post a link to get at least one of those backgrounds. Are you using a wide-screened monitor?

simple render with light caustics and glass-like material. (Lightly reflective backplane with fresnel factor) (Yafray+Blender)

Hi Cerise.
No, i don't use the wide-screen monitor. Just 17" LCD & 15" CRT.
Thank you.

Ive been messing about a bit with SLiM lately (seems that I picked a bad time, with all the problems people have been posting here over the last few days), so here's a theme based on my simplified Concept 2:

Simple, lightweight.
