touch pad

I have a dell laptop with a classic touch pad. on windows and xubuntu touching the touchpad on the bottom and right edges acts like using an horizontal/vertical scroll. how can I enable this in arch linux?

normally you need to install synaptics touchpaddriver for that. it can be somewhat tricky to get it to work but try it out.
