xfce4 with slim

I want to use xfce4 with slim. What entry should i make in the .xinitrc. Should it be:

exec startxfce4

or

exec xfce4-session

"exec startxfce4" should be correct.

But it disables the "let xfce manage the desktop" option in the configs

You set that in xfce4 when it's running, and then save your session.

I always used "startxfce4" on its own, btw.

I tell slim to start up Xfce's xinitrc, which i copied to ~/.xinitrc.
