foomatic-rip failed: Minolta PagePro 1250W

I've succeeded in setting this printer up before. But I can't seem to get it work here. I've reinstalled CUPS, and all the foomatics . I get the same error. When I try to print a test page, I get "/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed." Here are errors from /var/log/cups/error_log:

E [04/Nov/2007:20:47:10 -0500] PID 12142 (/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip) stopped with status 1!
E [04/Nov/2007:20:47:10 -0500] [Job 40] Job stopped due to filter errors.

And from another try:

E [04/Nov/2007:20:54:54 -0500] CUPS-Add-Modify-Printer: Unauthorized

Any leads appreciated.
