What new motherboard should I choose?

I'm looking to upgrade my computer, and need a little help on deciding what mobo to buy.
I have my eyes on the Asus M2R32-MVP and the Asus M2N32-SLI. The first uses an ATI Crossfire chipset and the other a Nvidia nforce 590 chipset.

Does anyone have any experience with any of these mobos/chipsets together with Linux?
Any other chipsets that you think is better?

Searching on google doesn't really give a clear picture about whether the mobos really work with Linux, that's why I turn to you, my fellow arch'ers.

The plan is to use an AMD Athlon64 X2 6400+ CPU and 2GB ram together with this mobo. Hope that'll give me a machine to use for the next couple of years.

i always stick with MSI, and the nvidia chipset never gave me problems, always compatible with my lovely arch... i have a MSI with the nvidia 590 chipset and everything goes smooth

I went ahead and bought an Asus M2N board with the nvidia nforce 430 MCP chipset.
The only trouble I have is that I need to have apm=off on the kernel line. If I don't do that, then my nic fails intermittently. Even a 3com 3c905 card I installed behaves this way!
