[SOLVED] Locale setting problem

Hi there, new Archlinux user as of today. Well chuffed that I've actually managed to install it properly.:)

However, I am having a problem with my locale settings. I thought I had it set up for danish properly, but I keep getting messages like

warning: current locale is invalid; using default "C" locale

this is what /etc/rc.conf says:

LOCALE="dk_DK.utf8"
HARDWARECLOCK="localtime"
TIMEZONE="Europe/Copenhagen"
KEYMAP="dk-latin1"
CONSOLEFONT="lat0-16"
CONSOLEMAP=
USECOLOR="yes"

locale -a says:

locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory
C
POSIX
da_DK
da_DK.iso88591
da_DK.utf8
danish
dansk
en_GB
en_GB.iso88591
en_GB.utf8

Is there something wrong here I am not spottting?

Re: [SOLVED] Locale setting problem

I've done that a few times already - it has been a problem from the first boot.

Re: [SOLVED] Locale setting problem

Your current LOCALE setting has the answer; you set LOCALE="dk_DK.utf8", but it should be LOCALE="da_DK.utf8"
