cmus + urxvt

Hi, i'm having some issues with cmus and urxvt.
Whenever i press return window content gets borked, especially the bottom rows. Here's an example:
Before any action:

And after i move down and press enter:

I suspect this is urxvt's fault somehow, anyways urxvt is launched with
+si +sb -ls -bg black -fg white -fn "xft:Bitstream Vera Sans Mono:pixelsize=11" -tr -tint white -sh 40 -sl 5000

Any ideas?

Edit: same happens on every song change, and resizing the window fixes the view.

Re: cmus + urxvt

same problem here with bottom lines... i use cmus in aterm with command:

aterm -tr -sh 50 -bl +sb

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Re: cmus + urxvt

its definately not a cmus issue and ive never seen that heppening to my urxvt. never tried aterm. maybe try some other font or modify the options u launch the terminal with.
btw those urxvt options can be passed to .Xdefaults file in order to be permanent (man urxvt)

There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)

Re: cmus + urxvt

I fixed this by commenting out the "export COLUMNS LINES" line in /etc/profile

Re: cmus + urxvt

Run "set set_term_title=false" at the cmus command line.
