I have Epson Photo R220 printer connected via usb port and since the last upgrade I have strange problem:
I can't print from any application because I can't see my printer in the application's print dialog.
I can print the test page from the CUPS administration page - from within Firefox, but if I try to
open Firefox's print dialog, there is no my printer in the drop down list to select. Only Postscript/default.
I tried the Gimp, Firefox, Acrobat, Open Office
I even tried to start the Gimp as a root, but no luck. Even that I can't see the printer.
What could be the cause?

I have found it.
I have messed up with my home network setup and I have changed my ip address.
I had to update "Allow From" statement in the /etc/cups/cupsd.conf
