cannot boot into windows from grub

Just tried booting into windows for the first time since installing arch and discovered I couldn't. I followed the manual's suggestion for what to set up. Thus is how my menu.lst entry looks (windows is on sda2):

# (2) Windows
title Windows XP
rootnoverify (hd0,2)
makeactive
chainloader +1

The manual says this should boot most windows partition. I can't imagine anything on the side of my hardware or partition table that should complicate this.

Re: cannot boot into windows from grub

Grub starts counting the partitions from 0, not from 1. Try rootnoverify (hd0,1) instead.
