Automatic mute on HP 6510b

Hello. I'm quite new to ArchLinux and I just bough a new laptop - an HP 6510b. For some reason the sound mutes automatically, seemingly periodically. However, sometimes it doesn't and works just correct! It's really strange. The mute button/light on the laptop also lights up when this happens and I have to unmute it manually.

Does anyone else have this problem? If so, does anyone know the solution?

Same laptop here. With the stock Arch kernels I had the mute light on too by default, however, from the moment i played sound or video, the sound unmuted.
