Nope but a bug report has been submitted and all that needs to be done is have art recompiled against the new kdelibs. That fixed all my arts issues with kdemultimedia and k3b..

I tried rebuilding arts but it did not fix the problem for me. The last I heard the maintainer was working on this and at the very least there would be a new kde relese soon (kindergarten?).

ur post doesn't really seem to answer a question in this post. is there going to be a fix for kde and arts?? so 3.2.3 comes out last month? what does that mean for arch users who are without kde?

that means that the new 3.2.3 kde will be compiled completly with gcc 3.4
than all quirks should be gone (now some packages are gcc 3.4 some are gcc 3.3)
it should be released this weekend
expect packages to appear soon after release
