Macbook Pro 3, Atheros Wifi dead starting with madwifi 0.9.3.2-2

Before Oct. 10th my wlan worked perfectly out of the box. My pacman.conf shows:
[2007-10-10 21:52] madwifi-utils (0.9.3.1.99-1 -> 0.9.3.2-1) aktualisiert
[2007-10-10 21:52] madwifi (0.9.3.1.99-2 -> 0.9.3.2-2) aktualisiert
Since then there is no more device and I couldn find any way of makin it work again.
Actual version is 0.9.3.3-1 but still no wlan.
Broken by update is somewhat frustrating. Any ideas!

I downloaded, compiled and installed the latest snapshot of madwifi (revsion r2847). After restart wlan works again.
Problem solved.
