I really like this one. It's probably not a logo to replace the current Arch one for general use, but it kicks ass otherwise.

LOL ok, that's what the skeleton of the triple-arch logo design looks like (as if the logo were made of skin/bones, and I peeled away the flesh.)
The general use logo is the one I submitted -- the blue/black triple-arch.  These wallpapers would be all kinds of goodies to download later.  smile

here's an in-process indigo render of the second floyd-like prism (only this time showing off the perfect symmetries within the triple-arch design):

this render, like the other prism, will get sharper and clearer the longer I let the render process run.  smile

cerise, first of all great job on all of these mockups, you have really got me pulling for your logo.  I was wondering if these are scaled down images of wallpapers.  and if so could you take a request for the full-scale images.

If the triple-arch design is chosen for the new logo, I'll upload all of the mockups that you see as real wallpapers.  If it's not chosen, I'll give the people that have requested wallpapers the ones they have requested, but I won't upload all of them as they would be unofficial designs competing for mindshare with the official design.

I like this version a little bit more, because the other one looks more like Van Halen (also a good artist, but I like PF more and you wanted it to look like the Dark Side Of Moon-Cover, as far as I remember). wink

I second kanim's request for a off-bbs gallery. This is not an appropriate mode of presenting THAT many pictures...

Don't get me wrong... it's just *really* hard to keep track of who said what and who posted what...

Re: Post your Arch logo concepts here:

foxbunny: Why don't you set up an external site for arch gallery... I think with the number of interested users now it would be utilized more than previously, especially if its good gallery software. I don't think Simo's gonna want to maintain another aspect of this behemoth site. :-)

@Dusty

Sure, no problem. I just don't know Gallery2 so well, and how to allow free user registration and image uploads, etc etc. If anyone would like to admin the gallery, I can set up an admin account on my Gallery2 installation.

Seems like there is only hours left on the voting period. Anyway, it will be interesting to see which one of the contributions that won.

These last two weeks have reminded me why I rarely enter competitions. I can't stand the suspense! AAAAAAARGH! mad
